About My Approach

An Integrated-Systems Approach

An Integrated-Systems Approach

An Integrated-Systems Approach

My focus is on wellness, prevention, and helping clients move out of chronic pain and into the patterns their bodies once knew and thrived in.

The lymphatic system, breathing mechanics, circulation, and movement patterns are deeply connected. When one area becomes restricted—whether from stress, mouth breathing, injury, surgery, day-to-day compensation, or our tendency toward protective “bracing patterns”—fluid circulation and nervous system balance can be affected throughout the body.

By integrating manual lymphatic drainage, craniofacial and airway-centered manual therapy, breathing mechanics, and functional movement retraining, I work to restore these natural pathways. By addressing restrictions in the head, neck, jaw, rib cage, diaphragm, and pelvic floor, we can improve the relationship and fascial alignment between these pivotal areas.

As these systems begin working together more efficiently, circulation improves, inflammation and congestion decrease, chronic pain and tension often resolve, and breathing patterns become more efficient—supporting healthier movement patterns throughout the body.

Each session combines hands-on therapy with education and simple exercises so clients leave with tools to support their body’s natural flow long after the session ends.

This integrative approach helps improve lymphatic flow, restore mobility, and support lasting changes in how the body moves and functions.

When the body’s systems are able to regulate, flow and move efficiently, healing and resilience follow.

Let's Get Started

Will this benefit Me??

An Integrated-Systems Approach

An Integrated-Systems Approach

This integrative approach may be helpful if you are experiencing:

Head, Neck & Jaw Issues

  • TMJ dysfunction or jaw tension
  • Chronic head and neck tightness
  • Headaches or migraines related to jaw or neck tension
  • Facial tension, clenching, or grinding

Breathing & Airway Dysfunction

  • Mouth breathing or shallow breathing patterns
  • Rib cage restriction or difficulty taking a full breath
  • Postural patterns that affect breathing efficiency

Lymphatic Congestion & Inflammation

  • Facial puffiness or sinus congestion
  • Swelling or fluid retention
  • Post-surgical swelling or lymphatic congestion
  • Chronic inflammation or sluggish recovery

Movement & Postural Imbalances

  • Persistent tightness or tension patterns
  • Difficulty activating the core effectively
  • Compensation patterns from previous injury or stress

* Please note after 20 years of manual therapy, I have created this approach because this has significantly helped me treat my clients with:

  • Chronic low back pain
  • Sciatic pain
  • SI Joint & Hip Pain
  • Knee Pain, Arthritis, ITB syndrome
  • Shoulder pain,  tendinitis, carpel tunnel wrist pain
  • Ankle/Foot Pain, Plantar Fasciitis

So if you have been to therapy for any of the above pain issues, and have not had results, I have treated all of them and am constantly evaluating and treating the entire system (your body) throughout my manual therapy sessions.

Our Services

Comprehensive Physical Therapy Assessment

Using the SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment), and a series of other functional mobility and motor control tests,  your licensed physical therapist will perform a 90 minute comprehensive functional movement and postural assessment.

The SFMA assesses 10 functional movement patterns of your body from your head to your feet, and the quantity and quality of your movement is observed and noted.   Your therapist will break down the patterns and determine if your movement patterns are normal or limited.  They will then identify if your limitation is  due to lack of  mobility (mechanical joint/tissue restrictions) or decreased stability (lack of strength)

A treatment plan will be developed to address the patient's primary complaint of pain, discomfort, restriction or weakness; however your entire body/system will be addressed as part of the evaluation and treatment.  Our goal is to restore more efficient movement patterns in your body,  which have often been altered due to muscles imbalances and structural misalignment.  These issues have often resulted from poor postural awareness and repetitive strain on the body from sports, work, raising children, or just life!
